Colorize genes by expression
It is possible to color gene nodes by expression in various cell types/tissues by choosing different options in the corresponding drop-down menu. Currently following datasets are supported:
- DICE-DB dataset. Dataset covers major blood cell types and can be also accessed at DICE database. Selected with (DICE-DB)[celltype]entries in the drop-down menu.
- Human Protein Atlas dataset. Dataset is available at www.proteinatlas.org and covers major human tissues. This data can be accessed with (HPA)[celltype]entries in the drop-down menu.
- DICE-DB dataset. Dataset covers major blood cell types and can be also accessed at DICE database. Selected with
- Bgee DB mouse dataset for RNA-seq from ENCODE/LICR. Can be downloaded here.
Note: some of the genes in the network can be with white background. It can happen due to several reasons. One of them is that the app could not identify your gene. In this case you can always substitute a name of a gene for its Uniprot ID if you know one. Or for some of those the name could not be successfully coerced to Ensembl ID which is required for inferring the expression. You can have a look at how the resolution succeeded for you input list in
